Limor Elkayam takes nearly a decade of experience building and leading digital media and marketing initiatives for several global brands to her role as founder and chief executive officer of Spotery. She oversees day-to-day operations of Spotery’s editorially-selected and user-submitted news aggregation platform, which enables people to quickly find and enjoy the day’s top news from across the Web.

Prior to founding Spotery, Elkayam spent seven years in the television, digital media and e-commerce industries. She served as a the account lead marketing executive at New York City-based digital marketing firm 360i, where she managed the digital marketing initiatives for Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, Spike, TVLand and several other well-known TV networks.

She also has professional experience in the TV industry as the manager of Food Network’s e-commerce platform and as assignment editor/producer for Capital News 9, a subsidiary of Time Warner Cable and the sister station of NY1, New York City’s 24-hour television news network, where she sourced news, assigned reporter coverage and managed the order stories were presented on air.

In 2004, Elkayam founded Bagitude, a micro-retail store that sold woman’s handbags in shopping malls that spun into ancillary retail stores that sold poker merchandise. In 2007, she took those stores online, and co-founded Rogue Media LLC, which had a portfolio of e-commerce sites ranging from kitchen products to gaming merchandise.

Elkayam is a 2002 graduate of the University of Albany-State University of New York with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She lives and works in New York City.
